what is error 0x80070005

Based on M/S article "Put your PC maintenance routine on autopilot I followed
the instructions to automate a timely schedule for diskcleanup, defrag, and
check for errors. In each instance I got a message saying they may not run
due to a error identified as 0x80070005. What is this error and how is it
corrected. I am running windowsxp media edition
