what is "interface not registered"?

I just installed Outlook and when attempting to send my
first email I got the message, "interface not
registered". I checked and Outlook tells me that the
product is registered. How do I correct this problem?

I have discovered that the problem lies with the Word /
Outlook interface not being registered, but I do not know
how to correct it.
