What is my best choice in replacing the trial version of office?

My trial version of Office is up and it is time to convert to the full
version of Office. How do I know which version to request, XP, 2006 etc.? My
laptop was provided a trial version of 2003.

As many have suggested, purchase the full version from Amazon as it will
save you money over the Microsoft direct purchase and you will have the CDs.
If you send MS the money you will only have your download. If you qualify
you may also be able to purchase the Student and Teacher version of Office
for about $150 from many suppliers.

If you do purchase outside of MS, uninstall the trial version before
attempting to install the full version of Office 2003.

Please realize that the STE version is *not* eligible for upgrades down the
road. If you want a newer versions, you will need full version.

Thanks, I did qualify for the teacher student version. I now have trouble
with outlook, with either the smpt or pop3 settings. Don't know if it is due
to the Norton Anti-virus, security settings or not. I guess I will net to
contact the ISP which is roadrunner(brighthouse) in my area.
