What is Previous Start and Previous Finish?

we have a custom view in Project Server 2007 with a filter which we've
defined. When i go to project center and click on custom filter and
drop down the Field name pick list, there are two values named,
Previous Finish and Previous Start, does anyone know what they are and
how to get rid of them?

I have already tried to go to manage views, pick the view , and
checked in displyed fields. it does not show there.

Can someone help?

Jack Dahlgren

Those are not standard fields so they must be something that your
organization configured.
Look closer at the views and see what they might be based on.

Project 2007 has got Preleveled Finish (task field:preleveled Finish field
contains the finish date of a task as it was before resource leveling
(leveling: Resolving resource conflicts or overallocations by delaying or
splitting certain tasks. When Project levels a resource, its selected
assignments are distributed and rescheduled.) was done) & Preleveled Start
(task field:Before Microsoft Office Project levels resources, it saves the
start dates for tasks in the Preleveled Start field). If yu have any custom
view, Just check if this ia being renamed.

First of all thanks Amit and Jack for your help.

Hi Amit,

Its a custom view which has been created. When i go to the view and
edit the view. I dont see any of the things you mentioned. What do you
think i could be doing wrong?

Task Updates.

can you help me figure out how to get rid of them from showing up on
my custom project center views. I still have not found a way to do so.

Pallavi,
Do you want to remove the fields from a view, or do you want to remove
the fields from the drop-down list of fields in the custom filter? I
do not think you can remove the fields from the drop down list in the
custom filter.
