Not sure about the size issue, but I've found that
putting a text box around an embedded object (picture,
graph, Visio file) enables you to move it around the
document with ease. Note that if you have a graphic at
the top of a document that does not have a hard (next
page) page break, it may overlap both pages. If you
insert a hard page break, it will be easier to manuver.
