What is the largest file size I can send in Outlook?

I tried to attach a 7MB QuickBooks file to a cover e-mail note and I receive
an error message 552 stating that the file size was too big. I checked with
my ISP and they told me that they were not limiting the size of my file
attachment especially as I have DSL service which will accommodate any size
attached files. I have switched off my outbound Norton AntiVirus e-mail
scanning, too, just to make sure that application isn't the problem. Any
solutions (without needing to compress my attached file)? Thanks for your
help.

That would be the ISP or mail server of the recipient that is limiting the
size.

That's a value set by your ISP or that of the recipient.
