What is the modified date of notebook pages?

Hello,
I need to know which version of a page in a notebook that was duplicated is
most current. How can I see / compare the page modification dates to see
which pages are most recent?

I have two notebooks of the same name, because at some unknown point, a copy
of one was saved in a different location. Unfortunately, I believe that both
versions of the notebook were being edited simultaneously, leaving me with no
idea of which parts of which notebook are most recent.

Both notebooks APPEAR identical because have all of the same page names.
However, some of the pages were modified in the first notebook, while the
other pages were modified in the second notebook. I want to now merge the
two, creating one complete notebook with just the most current versions of
each page.

How can I see / compare the page modification dates to see which pages are
most recent?

If the content was added to the page at time of page creation, you should
be able to look at the timestamp under the page title.

Otherwise, each paragraph also has a timstamp associated with it. Right-
click on any paragraph and there should be a "Last Modified" entry in the
context menu.

I solved a problem of this sort by comparing the *file*-dates of the
"one"-files.
If they were different, I opened both sections and checked the pages in
both sections.
Then deleted duplicates and moved the good to to notebook to be used in
the future.

That doesn't necessarily show access. There are other operations on a
Section file (indexing, defrag, etc.) which do not change the *content* of
the file.

Thanks, Erik.
I stand corrected.
