what is the normal web page length

As we all know Publisher is not HTML but at launch is converted. Page length
is important as one does not want to scroll endlessly. I was hoping that
there is perhaps a standard lenth used by Web Page Makers.
Publisher is the best wysiwyg program as it comes with the powerful
Microsoft Office. I use Publisher webpage maker 2003 and it's just fine one
can alter no design templates and do your own thing. By the way try 984 px
for page width and you can work in 1024x760 screen setting. I have just
started this project of mine as I recently suffered a stroke and can no
longer work as a store designer. I'm convinced one can deliver a professional
product with this program. many thanks for the help everyone.

Lewis,

You have my admiration for 'getting back out there' and proving that such
an illness does not mean the end of things, but the beginning of something
new....well done.

As to the page length. The length of the page in your website will be done
automatically as Publisher truncates the length after the last element in
your design, so the length is determined by your design. You won't see it in
your pub.doc, but you can test it in 'web page preview' and it will be there
when you 'publish to the web'.

I use 2003 for my website and like many others find it easy to use. And with
some time and effort one can produce a good, professional looking website,
we have all seen many on this newsgroup.

I designed my site as well using Publisher, but I have some scripting that is
weird and I don't know how to re-format the page to fit below the host
banner...do you have any thoughts on this?
