Gurus,
We are an Exchange2003 organization (just one mail server), all users using
Outlook2003. My boss complains lately that when he checks his 'Sent Items'
folder, that a lot of the emails that he sends through his personal email
account, a POP3 address provided by his ISP at home, say in the From field
"John Public [[email protected]] on behalf of John Q. Public". John
Public is how he has his personal account set up, and John Q. Public is how
his Exchange account is set up. Does anyone have any insight into this? I
will add that no user in my organization has any 'send on behalf of' rights
at all.
I just assumed that Outlook went to Exchange for the Exchange mail and used
the ISP's mail servers for the personal mail, but maybe this is not the case?
The mail server settings are configured correctly in the account settings for
the POP address.
Thanks for any help.
