what is the RPC sever

I had a similar problem after I installed MSO 7 Beta....Except my printer was
gone and I could not reinstall it. When I started Windows, it gave me errors
about loading dll files such as "cfgmgr" and NvMc..". Then when I tried to
install my printer it went all the way through and said "RPC Server not
available".

I ended up reinstalling Windows, and now everything works OK. Hopefully
this is not a serious/reoccurring problem. What do you think?

Hi Tad,

Are you referring to MS Office 2007 (v12), or MS Internet Explorer v7, betas. (Office 95 was v7).

The problems you listed aren't common ones reported with Office 2007 beta 2 on Windows XP+SP2
