what is utility.mda?

i am using both access 97 and 2000. i noticed that included in my
references is utility.mda. what is this for and when do i need to reference
it?

Did your application start out in an earlier version of Access? AFAIK,
utility.mda isn't part of either Access 97 nor Access 2000. Try removing the
reference to it, and see whether the application compiles successfully (on
the Debug menu) If it does, you should be good to go.
