what is VBA?

Im sorry but Im new to the whole microsoft office software and I wanted to
know what VBA is and what does it do?

VBA is short for Visual Basic for Applications and is a programming language
that can be used within the different Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel,
Access and PowerPoint).
