What is wrong with Expr in Qry "Test =Left([Firstname],1)" ?

You DO realize, I hope, that there's an entire area where you can put your
question with sufficient details that someone might be able to answer it?

I'm afraid your question is a little too vague. How are you trying to use
that expression? Do you get an error message when you try? If so, what's the
error message?
