What Network rights are necessary to save a word document on a ne.

We would like to have our staff to be able to create, write, read, rename
files but not to delete them. What network rights should they have to
accomplish this?

Well unless you Copy down, Edit, and then Copy back to the server you
can't make that work. If you are willing to do that then "Deny Delete"
