The answer is, "whatever looks good."
Authentic 1920 PowerPoint Templates are just impossible to find, but you can
create one of your own. I would research the time, find defining images
(like Buster Keaton, Flappers & Keystone Cops) and colors that match the
period. Look at some print examples from the era, find a font that is close
to the ones in use in that day.
Since this sounds like a school project, I would make sure that you document
the sources you will be using.
