What PP do I need, Full Version or the upgrade?

I have 2003 MicroSoft Office Basic, I need to install Power Point 2003, do I
need the full version or can I use the upgrade version?

You can't upgrade if you don't have a qualifying product.

Since all you've said is that you haveOffice 2003, you cannot use the
upgrade, you need the full version. Microsoft is charging $229. Amazon.com
is asking $194.99 and offering free shipping.

It all depends on what you already have either on your system or by way
of a CD which hasn't been installed or which is outdated. This is the
summary:

Upgrade Eligibility
Determine whether your current version of Microsoft PowerPoint qualifies

PowerPoint version 2002, PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 97

• Microsoft Office XP
Office XP Developer, Office XP Professional Special Edition, Office XP
Professional, Office XP Small Business Edition, Office XP Standard

• Microsoft Office 2000
Office 2000 Developer, Office 2000 Premium, Office 2000 Professional,
Office 2000 Small Business Edition, Office 2000 Standard

• Microsoft Office 97
Office 97 Professional, Office 97 Small Business Edition (version 2),

So if you have MS Works or if you can buy cheaply from Amazon then you
can buy an upgrade edition. I recently bought MS Frontpage 2003 Upgrade
edition based on what I had i.e. MS Works 6.0. you will be wise to buy
both Works (old edition for $20 from Amazon) and Powerpoint Upgrade
edition again from Amazon.
