What should I do - Visio Professional and Technical 5.0b on a XP

I have used Visio Professional and Technical 5.0b for facilities/space
planning since the late 199os - my old machine is Win98 that can't be
upgrade, thus lacks security - the new machine is xp professional. I put
Visio 2007 standard on, but the facilities/space planning stinks compared to
Visio Professional and Technical 5.0b. Is there a way to upgrade Visio 2007
standard to the same as what I had with Visio 2007 standard - all the
facilities and building stencils (called shapes in Visio 2007 standard) etc
that I had?

Just copy the files to the new machine. The shapes will be in the
Solutions folder under Visio in Program Files. Visio 2007 stores
stencils and templates in a different manner, the safest place for the
files is in your "My Documents\My Shapes" folder.

Back in the Visio 5 days, there were three flavours of Visio; Standard,
Professional and Technical. Since then they have dropped Visio Technical and
its' content has been added to Visio Professional. So the current equivalent
of Visio 5 ( Pro + Tech ) is Visio 2007 Pro.

The CAFM part has been radically changed ... some of them are even for the
better.
