I want to market an idea to a local grocery store RE: Website for grocery
delivery.
What steps should I take and using which templates??

I think you have misunderstood the question... I am about to propose a new
marketing proposal and needa format that is polished! All feelings aside, I
need a great suggestion.
Thank You.

You can take a look at whatever templates Microsoft offers but bear in mind
that to do it right, you really should hire someone to create a unique set
of documentation. And remember that just because something says it's geared
toward the real estate inductry, for example, doesn't mean you can't
substitute your own pictures/words.

Thank you JoAnn,
I appreciate your willingness to offer advise, however, I am seeking answers
to my unique question, which you have failed to answer thus far. The
question is, "What steps should I take and using which templates??" I am
quite capable of facilitating this request on my own and with the right help,
I can get the job done a-lot faster...
Thank You:)

I think the OP is looking for templates to pull together some sort of
presentation to take with her when she discusses the concept with a local
market. (I fear she may find she's in over her head though. To do it
properly you need someone who can design a website and if designing the
presentation material is a challenge, the website will present an even more
difficult obstacle. But that's just my opinion ............)

1. The steps to take are the ones that any new prospective business owner
should take - and that's outside of the scope of this newsgroup.

2. There's no "right" template - but obviously, there are "wrong" ones.

3. Contact your local Chamber of Commerce. They may have suggestions for how
to proceed.

I build web sites and quite well. I have never been asked to present a
letter of proposal to build a web site that sells groceries until now. I can
facilitate all of the necessary procedures, however, I need to know what
steps I should take in presenting all opf the facts when writing my proposal
letter to the client.

I feel that today with our technical savy internet I can seek out and find
new critique by researching other resources and found this help site an
interesting medium for expanding my horizons. I will keep an open mind to
the opinions, however, I will not be conformed to your critisism as you have
no idea what my background is and the fact that your opinions are based on no
prior knowledge of my skills and abilities. I am merely seeking ideas at
this point. I do appreciate your help, although, you have it backwards my
dear. I build web sites not proposals...
Sincerely,
Robyn

It sounds like you may be looking for the content of your proposal letter
and that is outside of the scope of these newsgroups. Try the Small Business
Administration.

Thank you. I actually found what I was looking for and it was right there
all along. : )

I really was looking for an opportunity to see how the pro's might format
the lay out within the outline. I have the presentation all wrapped up and
ready for delivery, I just have to sell the idea before giving the
presentation. I realize now, that this is no different than proposing a
grant and I will facillitate it that way...

Thank you for all of your help and maybe in the future I'll have another
question. I have been using the MS template service since 2002 and never
realized this board existed until now. Take care and God Bless You!
