It depends on what version of Office Pro you compare to Office Pro 2003.
There is Office 2000 Professional, Office XP Professional, and Office
2003 Professional

Hi Julie,
There has been an Office 'Professional Edition' in each release
of MS Office starting with MS Office v4 (1994). You'd need to
know if the non-2003 edition is Office 97, 2000, XP(2002) but
the information here may be helpful to you.

email/scheduling, spreadsheet, database, presentation software.
