What the hec happended?

I have a user here in our company that somehow inherited all kinds of
calendar entries from other users that dont even belong to him. these entries
start from a date last week and it looks like they recurr infinitely....
could this be a virus?...

yes, his secretary has access to his email

The only time I have seen this sort of thing is when the exchange
database files are corrupt. Try checking them - see
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996953.aspx. If that
fails then I would export the mailbox to PST, delete and recreate and
reimport the PST data.
