After furious head scratching, Dicka asked:

| I am trying to move a Micosoft Outlook Contacts folder between
| computers. Obviously, Contacts is not a wab folder. How should I
| save Contacts from computer A on a floppy disk, ie file extension? I
| have saved it as a pst folder, ie backup.pst. However, I have no
| idea how to import it into computer B. The warnings about opening
| pst folders are downright frightening!

Millie,

I didn't understand your recommendations completely. How does one "drag and
drop the contents from your saved .pst file to your current .pst file"? I'm
evidently a dummy, because I don't understand how to do that. Please explain
with a little more detail. Thanks!

I also tried to follow instructions located at

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA010771141033.aspx

That is, I tried to load the "old" Outlook.pst file as instructed on this
page, but for reasons I don't understand, I could not see the old data file
listed in the Outlook Navigation Pane (as this webpage suggests), thus could
not continue with those instructions.

I don't know what I'm not doing right, or what I'm evidently doing wrong.

Please advise, and thanks so much for your assistance.

Bob
