Dear All,

I have project server 2007. There is a project manager who published a
project to EPM with resources assigned. Resources did not update the project
plan, instead the project manager entered for all tasks as 100% complete from
Ms Project, still the team members are receiving alerts as they can see the
tasks on my tasks page.
SO what value needs to be modified on Sql server 2005 database in which
updates the project tasks as 100% complete and users dont receive the alerts.

Please let me know fast.

Regards,

Rather than edit the DB, open up the project in Project Pro, insert the field
called publish, and set the value to No for those tasks that are 100%
complete.

Thanks Ben for the prompt reply. But its not one or two tasks but its the
entire project which is completed. So now the usre wants the project should
be there under completed view and users should not receive notifications. So
pls guide on this.

Thanks

Hi,

Its easy to do for the whole project. Insert the Publish field as
suggested, and then use the Fill Handle to drag the No value down all the
tasks in the project. Publish the project.
