MS has volume license agreements starting with the Open license that has an initial purchase of five Microsoft licenses. Not all of
them need to be Office product licenses.
The OPEN license
http://microsoft.com/licensing
allows you to install to multiple users without being multiple physical software packages of Office and the volume license product
key gives you access to Office 2003 deployment/setup features not available for retail product users.
The Office 2006 Small Business Management Edition is MS Office 2003 Professional Edition plus MS Office Small Business Accounting
2006.
The Office Professional part isn't actually a 'multiple user' (meaning more than one person in a non-database file at once) but does
have collaboration features. MS Office is licensed on a 'per seat' basis, not a 'simultaneous users' basis.
For specific questions on using MS Office Small Business Accounting (SBA) as a multi (or single) user product you may want to use
the link below to post directly to that products newsgroup.
=============
I purchased Offce Small business Management edition 2006 the other day. Is
it usable on a 5 user server? If it is not, what Microsoft Office product is
suitable for a 5 user system? I have searched all over the internet and
can't seem to get an answer to such a basic problem. Please help!! I need
to install the product ASAP! Thank you all in advance>>
