What would this Error Message Mean?

In FP 2002 on a Win XP system working with a functioning website
attempting to make some minor changes:

Microsoft Front Page
The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet
service provider or web server administrator to make sure that the
server for the Front page Server Extensions or Share Point Team Services
from Microsoft installed.
For more specific information, click the Detail button.
Then I got:

404 Not Found- Not found The requested URL/_vti_bin/shtml.exel_vti prc
was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use
an Error Document to handle the request.Apache/1.3.31 Server at
www.greeneclassiccars.com Port 80

Sounds like your server extensions may have gotten corrupted. Try
recalculating hyperlinks and then publish, and see if it doesn't fix it.

My tests indicate the FP server extensions are not installed or are
corrupted. Contact your host.
