Double clicking will always bring up a new event. If you want an
appointment, try selecting the date and use File->New or click on the Icon.

After furious head scratching, jacksors asked:
| Is there a way to change the default behavior. If you were to double

|||| Hello:
||||
|||| I've checked my Outlook settings, and for some very strange
|||| reason, my reminders start at 18 hours before the scheduled time
|||| for an appointment. Where else could that be originating? It's a
|||| headache as I have to read them carefully so as NOT to dismiss a
|||| far off apptmt, thereby NOT getting the default 15 min *before*
|||| reminder.

|||| Thanks, germaine
