I take it from your message that you are not now a user
of any version of Front Page.

Front Page 2003 has some improved features over the 2002
version. You don't have to use them if you don't want to.
I have, for now at least, elected to stay with the 2002
version as I don't tap all of its features now. This is a
personal choice on my part. Others on this newsgroup
refer to the upgrade decision as a "no brainer". I
suspect that many of those folks design web sites for a
living. Front Page 2003 makes their life easier.

As far as I know both products are the same price. At
some point in time the distribution channel will empty
itself of the 2002 version.

If you are just getting into Front Page, version 2003
seems like the logical move to me. I wouldn't pay the
same price for a two year old car that has less features.
I think the same logic applies in this case.

As to ease of use, I would expect that they both have the
same ease of use. With more features, version 2003 would
take somewhat longer when you factor in its new features.

As to the "what's different" question, if you are just
getting into Front Page I wouldn't worry about the
differences for now. You probably would not understand
those differences.

Ive just got frontpage 2003 and ive designed a couple of websites but im not
an expert or professional by any means. However, the addition of layers (in
the same way as Dreamweaver) is such a vast improvement over previous FPs
that i think it is absolutey ****** marvellous. Designing and moving stuff
around on the pages is a doddle and you can create any look you want. Using
tables as before with FP was an absolute nightmare!

my advice DEFINITELY GO FOT IT.
