What's in Terminal Server user folders on the server?

Using Windows 2003 Server and Terminal Server, we will be connecting 3 remote
locations to our inhouse server. The Access app has been split FE/BE and is
working fine on the LAN. At this point we are planning to have a folder on
the Server for each remote location. In this folder will be the FE MDE for
that location.
What other objects should be in that folder ? Can/should we install a copy
of the Access runtime in each folder?

TIA,
Charlie

What you propose sounds right on.

You don't need to install a copy of the runtime for each user...but each
user does need their own FE as you describe.

You do not need a runtime in each folder as mentioned by Albert, but you do
need an installation on the server. You also need to install it via the
Terminal Services manager or it won'y connect or register correctly. I would
install the entire Office Suite on the Server so that you can take advantage
of automation, but that does require a license for each user. In my case
that's not a problem because all of our users already have a licensed copy
of Office.

Also I specifically created the Auto FE Updater utility so that I
could make changes to the FE MDE as often as I wanted and be quite
confident that the next time someone went to run the app that it would
pull in the latest version. For more info on the errors or the Auto
FE Updater utility see the free Auto FE Updater utility at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/autofe.htm at my website to keep the
FE on each PC up to date.

In a Terminal Server or Citrix environment the Auto FE Updater now
supports creating a directory named after the user on a server. Given
a choice put the FE on the Citrix server to reduce network traffic and
to avoid having to load objects over the network which can be somewhat
sluggish.
