What's this font

I'm trying to reproduce the font represented by "Whidbey Island Writers
Association", shown on the header which can be seen the this URL:
http://www2.whidbey.net/wiwa/

This text is imbedded in the picture. It's close to "Futura Md BT". The
small "a" is fairly distinctive.

I would also like to know how to reproduce the light, shadowy effect seen on
this header. It's more than a shadow since there seems to be a little halo
around each letter.

Bob,

I do not know what this particular font is. Usually these
effects are done through a graphics program such as
Photoshop. There are many filters in there which can do
shadows, glows, and other lighting effects.

What I did notice about this page is that it is designed for
an 800x600 display. The images in the top frame wrap at
higher resolutions
