I am using winsock controls in my A2007 application to communicate with
Windows CE devices. I reveived a call, out of the blue, this morning from my
customer that he cannot communicate with his portable devices. Of course we
didn't have a clue since they were working fine yesterday.
I tried to run my application on my development computer and to my
amazement, had the same problem. I then opened up in design view and my
Winsock Controls were all disabled and I was not allowed to add new ones????
After hours of debugging, we realized that both our computers were updated
through the night with the same update, KB960715. We removed this update and
things are good again. Can anyone explain what I should do to run with this
update?
Thanks
