when adding an attachment outlook 2003 crashes

OK. And what is the error message that you receive when it happens. Can you post it per verbatim. Not much anybody can do if we do not know the error generated

It comes up with "Outlook 2003 has a fatal error and cannot continue.
Outlook will now close.
I have since reformatted and reloaded office - see if it happens again.
