When cutting/pasting the font changes.

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I have Word and Entourage set to use 12 pt. Helvetica as the default font for each program. When I cut/paste from Word to Entourage or vice-versa, the font changes to 10.5 pt. Times New Roman.

Is anyone else experiencing this glitch? Any solutions?

Are you sending in plain text or HTML??
If it is plain text, the display font reverts automatically to the
default set in your preferences.

I am sending in HTML format and the default font has been set to Helvetica. I am also experiencing this problem when cutting/pasting from Word document to Word document. I believe this to be a problem with Compatibility Mode since the troubles come from documents that open in Compatibility Mode.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

I just tried and I wasn't seeing that. Are you fully up to date?
Did you setup the e-mails to be in Helvetica 12 by default in the
Entourage Preferences?

Yes, the default fonts for both Word and Entourage are set to Helvetica. Yes, I have updated to the latest version of Office.
