When ever i click on a hyperlink in Outllook 2003, outlook freezes

The problem is whenever I click on Outlook 2003 message Hyperlink the
application freezes. It doesn't matter if I open the message up or simply
click on teh link in the preview pane.

Any ideas would be most welcome.
