When I add music to my powerpoint slide show, the slides won't au.

My slides won't automatically advance in my slide show when I add
music....they do fine without the music...what could be the problem?

Right click on one of the sound icons and select Custom Animation. Set the
Effect to Stop playing after XX slides. In PowerPoint 2000 and 97 you want to
set the sound to "Continue slide show".

I Will try it.....the problem isn't actually adding the music, I can do that.
The music keeps playing, but even though I have the slide show to advance
automatically after 10 seconds, it won't when the music is attached.

Unless you set your music to play across multiple slides, you will be stuck on
one slide until the music completes. I thought that was the problem??
