When I insert endnotes, I want to insert 5 references at the same

place. Usually people use [1-5] to refer the references.
However I only know how to put in endnotes one by one.
If I do it, I can only get [1,2,3,4,5]. It is because the numbers
are generated automatically.

How can I put in [1-5] ?

Hi

You can do this, but you have to cheat. Insert the references as usual.
Select 2, 3 and 4. Format > Font > Hidden. Now, insert the hyphen after the
1. At Tools > Options > Print, make sure that Hidden Text is turned off.
