You are using Shared Borders and editing in the shared border area(s).
Shared borders are shared by every page that uses them.

Going out on a limb here...I assume that you are using shared borders
somewhere...(top, bottom, left or right) and you are making the change in
the shared border..if you do that it will be seen in all pages that use that
same shared border.
