When I minimize Outlook the icon on my toolbar disappears.

I must have changed some setting as Outlook no longer leaves an icon on my
lower toolbar when I minimize it.

Right click the Outlook icon in the system tray (next to the clock).
Uncheck 'Hide when minimized'.
