When I open a new doc, it is huge-only showing 1/2 the page-WHY??

Every time I open a new document. it is huge-only showing 1/2 the page?? Why
is that and how do I reduce it to a single page view?? Thanks

Have you tried this from the menu bar:

View, Normal

Or View, Print Layout
