When I paste a text box from another slideshow, it is bulleted?

I am trying to copy textbox from another presentation and it is not bulleted,
yet when I paste to slide, it comes with bullet and bullet color is not
consistent with master colors

What version are you using? And are you pasting into a placeholder or onto a
blank slide?

I am using PowerPoint 2007 and am just pasting a textbox on to a blank slide
in another presentation.

What I would do is create a text box in your destination file that is
formatted as you want it -> right click -> set as default. Then when you
copy in from another presentation look out for the little paste options
button (a clipboard to the lower right of the pasted object) and select
match destination formatting (should be the default).
