Press the Insert key to change from overtype mode to insert mode.
You can tell which mode you're in at any time by looking at the
letters OVR at the bottom of the Word window -- if they're black you
are in overtype mode, if they're gray you're in insert mode. You can
also double-click those letters to switch modes.
