When I receive invitation, it comes in blank, how can I open it?

I have never been able to receive acceptance or invitations. They come to me
blank in Outlook. In my work computer, using Navigator, they open up with the
details, so i know it is not the sender. I have played with a lot of the
settings and tried to set it up exactly as my husband's but it won't work.
