When I right click on a Word document it now closes immediately

All of a sudden Word is closing doen immediately when I right click anywhere
on the document. Any ideas of what is going on?

I am having the same problem...but sometimes without clicking anything. I
have removed the handwriting recoginition as instructed in the fix...but Word
keeps closing - whenever it feels the need...

*grumble*

The handwriting bug is applicable only to clicking on the icon in the
Windows Taskbar and has nothing to do with right-clicking in the document.

What happens if you start Word in Safe Mode? Use Start, Run and type in

winword /a

and press enter. Are you able to open a document and right-click now?
