when i send a group distribution list, it is showing up blank

Sometimes when i attach a contact or distribution list to an email, it is
blank when the recipient opens it.

Hard to know what you're doing wrong when you don't tell us what you're
doing.
The correct way to send a DL is to insert it as an Outlook item in an RTF
message.
