When I send my cutom size to print, it prints as letter, help?

I am trying to print aN 8.5 BY 12 to my HP 5650 and it keeps printing it as
an 8.5 by 11, no matter what I change in my page setup. Help?

Where'd you get 12"-long paper??

What happens if you tell it to use legal size (8 1/2 x 14) and leave m
+2" of bottom margin?

Word will only print what the current printer driver will allow. Many
printer drivers are poor with custom page sizes and will adopt the closest
standard size, which here is 8.5 x 11 (US Letter). You should be able to
work around it by setting up the next larger standard page (as 'grammatim'
suggests - Legal) and adjust the margins to make up the difference.
