when I send my messages they convert to plain text and I lose all.

I am trying to send or forward HTML messages that have sound and animated
clipart imbeded. When I forward it to myself or anyone they convert back to
plain text and I lose all formating. I have checked every option in my
settings and cannot get a message to forward correctly as a HTML message.

MS Office Pro, running XP pro with Norton.

I sometimes send out messages with the addresses suppressed in the BCC line.
I usually send it to myself in the send to line. I noticed that my HTML
message were coming back to me in plain text leading me to believe that the
recepients were also getting it in plain text. However by running some tests
by sending and receiving messages to another computer, I found that they are
receiving the message in HTML but the one sent to myself comes back as plain
text. There has to be some way I can test messages by sending them to myself
withoug them being reformatted into plain text.

MS Office Pro,

That doesn't state your Outlook version. It's one of: Office 97, 98, 2000,
XP, or 2003, which included Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, and 2003
respectively. Help>About.
