I have created a presentation and have tried saving it in different ways.
When I send it to others for review there seem to be several images missing
that show up fine on my end.
any ideas?

Thanks

I am assuming that where the image is supposed to be there is a Red X.

RED X instead of graphics

What version of PPT are the recipients using? If it's PPT 2003, do they have
SP-1 installed? (They can check by going to Help/About. If they don't see
SP-1 listed, then they can install it by going to Help/Check for Updates.)

I have the same problem. I'm running PowerPoint 2003 with the latest updates.
Nothing on the web site below applies to my situation. I received a
presentation from someone and the images show up as red x's (created in
PP2004 on OS X). I was able to successfully open the presentation in
PowerPoint2002 on another machine. While in PowerPoint2002, I saved the
presentation as a standard presentation or something more backward
compatible. On my PowerPoint 2003 machine, I was able to open all the files
generated by PowerPoint 2003. So try opening the file in a previous version
of PowerPoint. I haven't tested this yet, but if you're running PP2003, try
saving presentations in an earlier format. Others might then be able to open
them.

A similar problem I had relates to pasting from photoshop into Word or PP.
If your photoshop image has a high pixel density and the pasted image in
Word/PP is reduced in size. The image might not show up during printing (but
is visible when the document is open or during print preview). So reduce the
pixel density if the image will subsequently be reduced in size in the office
document.
