This may be a Word or PowerPoint issue. When I create an outline in Word and
send to PowerPoint I loose my bullets. How do I get the bullets from Word
into PowerPoint?

In order for PowerPoint to read the text correctly, formatting styles must be
associated with each line of text.
For example, a "heading 1" style will create a title on a slide while a
"heading 2" style will be part of a bulleted list. A "normal" style tag will
not be read by PowerPoint.

Apart from the documented method above you can also do this create in word
with slide titles normal text and other text indented

Title
(tab) point 1
(tab) point 2
Title 2
(tab) point 1

etc

and save as a .txt file called "mypresname.ppt" (include the "")

This will open as a powerpoint pres!

You can also do this in Notepad, with every line not tabbed becoming the
slide title. Doing it in Notepad allows you to save without the "" around
the filename Which I always forget <g>
