when I use a room shape, are dimensions inside the shape?

I am planning a room, and I want to put furniture in there. I have only the
inside dimensions, not the outside. Is there a way to use the inside
dimensions only. I also currenltly can't tell if what I see are inside
dimensions or outside dimmensions. (although I guess outside).

The room shapes and space shapes use interior dimensions.

Dont forget that a dimension shape exist. So you can put dimension

Great answers, thanks to both responders. I did not even know the dimension
shape existed.
