When new items arrive in my Inbox options not available.

Hi,

When opening the Advanced E-mail Options in Outlook 2007, the
following checkboxes are dithered (unavailable to change):

Play a sound
Briefly change the mouse cursor
Show an envelope icon in the notification area

The first one of the three above is unchecked, and the latter two are
checked, but none of these three can be changed. Any ideas why?

Could be set as a company policy. Ask your corporate admin to verify.
