in html, it arrives, local or not, in Chinese text, even though it was typed
and sent in English. One user using Outlook 2003 is having this problem.

This is an eample:
"This is a test of the email system."
This arrives as;
"æ¡”â¥ç‰¯æ©æ¹©æ±¡æ´ ç¥æ…³æ•§æŒ æ¹¯æ•´ç‘®æŒ æ¹¯æ…´æ¹©æ‘¥æ„ ç˜ ç‰©çµæ¼ â²æ…·â³æ±¢æ¯æ•«â¤ç•¤â¥æ½´æˆ æ½¬æ£æ¹©â§ç•²æ•¬â³æ¹¡â¤æ…¨â³æ•¢æ¹¥çˆ æµ¥ç™¯æ‘¥à´®."

Change the Encoding settings in View in the email. Also check Tools, options,
Mail Format, International Settings for HTML. Make sure the default is set to
Western European and auto default. Look at the fonts settings, too. Last,
make sure the Language settings are correct in Windows.
