When opening offline files in word it is slower than opening from other
sources how can I speed it up - using Office 2003, Windows XP and F-secure
internet secuirty 2005

Are the templates attached to the offline documents saved locally or on a
network drive? MSKB says it can take up to ten minutes to open a file if the
XP OS can't find the attached template. See
